Education

I read for a BA in Political Economy at King's College London, specialising in the history of political thought, public policy, and economics. My dissertation was on the policy impact of a proposed Universal Basic Income (UBI) in Namibia. While at King's I was also awarded an Undergraduate Research Fellowship (KURF) in Experimental Economics, supporting research on gender differences in strategic decision making.

Outside of the lecture theatres I was a player, captain, and then President of the KCL American Football team, the Regents. Under my tenure as President I took the team from a winless season the year prior to the National semi-finals, making the playoffs for the first time in team history while undergoing significant change both on and off the pitch. I assembled the team's largest ever roster of players, raised funding for new uniforms and a team rebrand, secured sponsorships, new training and playing venues, and led several initiatives with local charities and other KCL societies to enrich the community.

I left King's College London with Full sporting colours and with nominations for President of the Year and the Burt Brailsford Award (contribution to the university community), while the club was nominated for Society of the Year, Charity project of the Year and Team of the Year.

From 2023 to 2025, I returned to KCL part-time to study for the Associateship of King's College (AKC), winning the Hanson Prize and receiving a triple dean's commendation for my work.
