Outside of my full-time gigs, I love to help exciting young companies in their quest to find product-market fit, to define product processes, build teams, and ultimately secure their first few rounds of funding.

In the past I've helped companies like Soulbound (previously Worldwide Webb), which is a web3 based massively-multiplayer-online-roleplaying-game (MMORPG) to define team structures, implement agile processes, and test new concepts. This all culminated with an amazing trip to NFT Paris in 2023 where the team announced a $10m Series A raise from the likes of Pantera Capital. I also briefly did some consulting for the amazing Slingshot AI. They're the creators of Ash, the first foundational model for human psychology. They recently raised a $30m Series A led by A16Z and I'm so excited to see Ash continue to grow in future.

I'm currently supporting a social start-up that's still in stealth, leading on product as they seek to deconstruct and challenge traditional norms around social media and foster a more nourishing, empowering social experience for their users. The project has challenged me to question every assumption I held and become a true revisionist when it comes to software development. It's interesting because 'dark patterns' are often created from being AB tested to oblivion, so you have to accept that you're often building things that are purposefully not optimised. This can be challenging for a PM at times!
